The Equilator offers maximum flexibility for use in different locations. It is operated via a commercially available power bank, so no fixed power source is required. The lightweight and compact design facilitates transportation and saves space during storage. The Equilator can even be used while moving, for example when the horse is walking, without impairing its functionality. This makes it possible to use it in challenging situations - whether on the road, in the stable or on a showground.

The Equilator combines effectiveness with a sustainable design. The targeted therapy ensures that the inhalant reaches the airways directly and only works where it is needed - without affecting the rest of the body. The modern mesh nebulization technology produces an extremely fine aerosol that enables even and gentle inhalation. By using over 95% compostable bioplastics, the Equilator also sets a strong example for environmental protection and sustainability.

About P3D-Health

The Equilator was created because our 18-year-old Tinker gelding Idefix has asthma. After many visits to the vet, we were recommended inhalation therapy. However, our savings were not enough to buy a suitable device.

My husband, a graduate physicist who worked in the field of 3D printing in medical technology at the University of Duisburg-Essen, then developed his own inhaler.

This is how the Equilator came about. It was important to us that it was easy to use, mobile and practical, but at the same time met the high requirements of inhalation, e.g. by direct nebulization in front of the nostrils. In September 2024, after more than 1.5 years of development, we registered a business to help other horse owners in similar situations.
